Idaho House Fire Leaves One Man Dead

One man is dead after a horrible house fire. 

It happened in Murtaugh which is near Twin Falls yesterday at about 7:59 a.m. By the time first responders arrived on the scene the home was fully engulfed in flames.

Six people lived in the home, but luckily only two people were home at the time of the blaze. Had everyone been there the outcome could have been much worse of course.

Still, one man was found dead inside the home. His identity has not been released. The other man was able to escape out a back bedroom window, but he suffered smoke inhalation and lacerations. He's been treated at St. Luke's Magic Valley. The current state of his condition is unknown.

The blaze was so bad that the home along with several vehicles were destroyed according to idahonews.com

The cause of the fire is unknown or hasn't been revealed yet. Crews are continuing to investigate.
