So, it's officially happening, southwestern Idaho is getting two new liquor stores. No word yet on exactly where these two locations will be (here's to hoping it's right down my house), but an earlier report from KTVB, said that south Boise, west Meridian, and east Nampa are the areas that are being considered. Now I don't know about you but, it's about time!

Lawmakers that form the Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee had not approved new stores in the state since 2008! The same committee set the new Liquor Division budget at $21.4 million -which will fund the two new locations. The proposed budget still technically has to pass through the Idaho House AND Senate, but according to KTVB. bills are rarely changed after leaving the budget committee.

Now, wherever these new and shiny stores set up shop, just remember to ALWAYS drink responsibly, and if you're stocking up for a big party, don't forget to invite us!!
