How Much Rain and How Much Flooding??

Lots of rain yesterday, today and it looks like we're getting even more.

Warmer temperatures and lots of rain is good for melting all the snow we received over Snowpocalypse 2017.  It may even be good for our morale.  I've seen a little pep in people's step since they don't have to wear a coat, shovel driveways, or brush their cars off.  With that said... what's the downside?  How much rain are we getting and how bad is the flooding going to be?

All this melting snow along with the new moisture we're getting is leading to flooding advisories in the Treasure Valley and flood warnings in Northern Idaho.  How much flooding... only God knows.

Early Saturday this storm will start to clear out and we'll actually see some sunshine.  Yay!  Temperatures will cool off a bit but not too bad.  Should be in the low 40's.  That'll slow down the melt and help our snow pack stay healthy.
