Hot Summer Nights – Riggins

If you're lookin' for something to do this coming weekend, you may want to head to Riggins for their annual "Hot Summer Nights" celebration!

Hey festivals, fairs and concerts may not be your thing, and maybe you need to get away for the weekend. About a half day's drive from Boise and the Treasure Valley, Riggins will be the scene of "Hot Summer Nights" this Friday and Saturday.

The party gets underway Friday, July 28 at the Riggins City Park. Starting at 4pm, you can check out the local talent show, with Dub & Dave...and $1500 ibn cash prizes. You can also catch the infamous Canyon Camillions! Wet your whistle with a snow cone...or an icy cold brew from the beer garden!

There's also a parade, a car show, and a big celebration taking place on Saturday, complete with live music, a fajita bar, and cold drinks!

So escape the heat of the valley...and head to the mountains and the beautiful Salmon River in Riggins! Hey...take some time and go fishing....you may even catch a big salmon or steelhead...How cool would THAT be?
