Horse Stranded in Frozen Idaho River

A horse faced a near death experience in the middle of Snowmaggedon. He became stuck in a frozen river! Here is his incredible story. 

No one knows how long the horse was in the river near Stites, but it was clear the horse would succumb to hypothermia if he wasn't rescued soon.

Luckily, once a rescue team created a bridge and got the horse out, it appears he will be okay other than minor injuries to his legs.

According to KTVB, the horse was returned to its owner and should make a full recovery.
