There is a whole lot of stuff going on today in the Treasure Valley! By a lot of stuff I mainly mean beer in downtown Boise.

Idaho's largest fresh hop festival happens today at 6th & Broad Street in Downtown Boise from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

"Every year since opening in 2014, Boise Brewing has held a beer festival in front of their brewery called Hoptober Freshtival. Attracting over 2000 thirsty patrons each year, Hoptober Freshtival is the largest fresh hop beer festival in Idaho. The festival features over 60 fresh hop and seasonal beers from 30+ local to regional craft breweries. Since Idaho is one of the top 3 states in the country for hop production, the festival works to educate and showcase local hop famers and the beers that utilize their ingredients", per https://hoptoberfreshtival.com.

I have glanced at the beer list, and my oh my! IPA's, Lager's, Pale Ale's, Porters, Ciders, and of course Oktoberfest will have an appearance.

You can purchase your Hoptober tickets here and the full beer list can viewed here. Food vendors will also be present (I mean, it's a beer festival... of course there will be food).

Happy beer fest and almost October! Enjoy your weekend!
