Meridian is finally getting a Costco.

The Idaho Press is reporting that the Meridian City Council has finally approved the design and elevation of a Costco that will be located at Chinden and North Ten Mile.

The new design is supposed to have more outdoor seating spaces, more greenery and be done in earth tones. The architects also removed the red stripe and added stone to the facade of the building.

While some people are extremely happy to have a Costco in that part of town, others are not. Fearing congested traffic and the problems that accompany that, including lowering property values, some residents are most likely to start another petition to get the whole matter revisited.
