Hawks Start Eight Game Homestand

The Boise Hawks are sitting at the top of their division, and they are kicking off the longest homestand of the season tonight!

When you go to a Hawks game, you may well be watching the next super-star in the "big show"....the MLB! Our Boise Hawks are the Class A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, and this week they start an 8-game homestand.

Tonight they take on the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes. The gates open at 6:30 and the first pitch is at 7:15pm at Hawks Memorial Stadium. They'll play three games against Salem-Keizer the next three nights, and then roll into at five game series with the Spokane Indians.

The Volcanoes are affiliated with the San Francisco Giants, and the Spokane Indians, the Mariners, so you have the opportunity to see guys that might be playing in the big league soon!

Each of the 8 home games have special events and activities planned, from food and drink specials (like Twofer Tuesday or Thirsty Thursday) to spectacular fireworks shows! Hey...the 4th of July IS coming up!
