Maybe this guy is proof that it's not guns that kill people, it's people that kill people.  Luckily, he didn't end up killing anyone but it's pretty rare for someone to walk away from being stabbed in the head.

According to KTVB the stabbing took place early this morning just before 6 a.m. in the 500 block of 13th street downtown Boise.  There are very few details at the moment but we do know a couple of things.  The victim, who's identity is confidential, was rushed to the hospital by ambulance and is expected to make it. The stabbing suspect is 43-year-old Raymond Edward Ranson of Boise.  Why he stabbed someone in the head you ask? We have no idea.  Seems like a pretty extensive attack and we can only speculate as to what prompted it.

We do not know if the two people knew each other but KTVB reports that Ranson was detained and booked into the Ada County Jail on aggravated assault charges.  He'll appear in court tomorrow afternoon.  If convicted, Ranson could face up to 15 years in jail.
