Luckily, it's a little more affordable to throw a wedding here in the Treasure Valley! Wallethub.com shows we're the 7th most affordable state in the nation as far as the cost of weddings, 9th in the nation overall. The survey also looked at the number of wedding chapels and local churches, the number of event planners, flower shops, bridal shops, hotels, and photographers in the area.

El Paso, Texas was deemed the cheapest place to hold a wedding, although Orlando, Florida received a #1 ranking overall.

Coming in dead last price wise is Honolulu, Hawaii but Moreno Valley, California was deemed the worst place to get married overall.
