Get Ready For The Bachelorette

It starts tomorrow and I. Can. Not. Wait.

Is it corny? Yes. Does it really last? Not very often. Is it a train wreck? Yup. Is it entertaining? Abso-freakin-lutely!

I'll admit, I don't exactly watch for the "love story" (though I do wish them happiness if they find it on the show) but I do watch for the comedic aspect. I mean, grab the popcorn and wine and settle in for 2 hours of laughs, head shaking and face palms.

My boyfriend will watch with it with me (I bribe with dinner of his choosing) though I know deep down he gets sucked into it too. He has voiced he prefers the "Bachelor" to the "Bachelorette" because he's ok with watching a bunch of girls go after one guy but watching a bunch of dudes go after one girl is "weird"... (yeah, ok. *eye roll inserted here*). Which makes me laugh really. I mean, he gets some eye candy on the Bachelor now let me have my turn.

My favorite comment is, "girls are more dramatic", so the Bachelor is more fun to watch. Sometimes that is true, yes, but to say guys aren't dramatic, gossipy and back-stabbing... oh come now! We both saw Chad on the last season of the Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise and that was more than amazing. We watched BECAUSE of Chad. You lost that argument, buddy.

Tomorrow is the day! Rachel takes over as the Bachelorette at 7:00 p.m. on ABC. Grab the popcorn and choice of beverage!
