Garden City Man Chains Woman to Bed

There are some messed up people in this world. This seems like something you would see in a horror movie, but it happened right here in Garden City.

30-year-old Carter Weyrauch allegedly chained a woman to her bed while she was sleeping!

According to KTVB, Garden City officers were alerted to an apartment in the 5600 block of Garrity after calls came in reporting that a woman was screaming for help.

When cops arrived on scene Weyrauch did not go peacefully. He kicked the officers as they tried to handcuff and arrest him.

He's been charged with second-degree kidnapping, a misdemeanor count of domestic battery, and two felony charges of battery on a law enforcement officer.

Weyrauch is due to appear in court at 1:30 p.m. today. No word on if he was dating this girl that he tied up or if they were related in any way.
