The colors on the trees are changing, and so are the Treasure Valley activities. Tons to do both indoors and outdoors, like the Wilder Oktoberfest on Saturday, Fall Dollar Book Sale, huge 100-vendor consignment sale, Gardenpalooza, Art Festival, Bishop’s House 125th Birthday Party, and it’s the Greenbelt’s (45th) birthday celebration, too.

Appetite for Idaho adventures continue, with new things to do each weekday. To see “Two Days at the Village”, where I skipped work and was the Village at Meridian’s guest, click here.
Enjoy the crisp, gorgeous Fall weather and have a FUN week!

Wilder Oktoberfest
Saturday, September 27th 7am-6pm
Starting with a pancake breakfast at 7am. There’ll be a car show, bounce house, face painting, and games for the kids, plus live music and entertainment, and raffles and prizes all day long. They’ll of course, also be showcasing Wilder’s top crop. The event is a fundraiser for the new Wilder Public Library, which will one day in the future be located in the remodeled fire station. A little trivia on that: Wilder’s former fire station once had a fire in it, and the fire truck parked in it had something go wrong with the battery, started itself up, and rolled itself out of the station, crashing right through the building’s doors.
