Freezing Rain Coming to Treasure Valley

Freezing rain, sleet, and snow coming to the Valley!

A winter weather advisory for heavy snow, sleet and freezing rain will be in effect in Boise starting at 11p.

As far as your Tuesday commute? Well, it's going to be a little crazy. According to the Idaho Statesman, meteorologist for the National Weather Service, Les Colin says, "freezing rain is the worst condition to drive on.”

Bogus Basin should be seeing a ton of snow during that advisory too, about a foot of new snow will fall on the mountain.
