Wouldn't it be nice to get a ride to work? Just kick back, listen to music, maybe catch up on some work? What if you didn't have to pay anyone to drive you? Well, that' legit what's happening throughout the month of May thanks to Valley Regional Transit!

Valley Regional Transit is offering free ValleyRide bus rides and Boise GreenBike rentals for the whole month of May as part of their 'May in Motion' Campaign. The free rides are good for any of the 20 fixed bus routes in Boise, three fixed bus routes in Nampa/Caldwell and six inter-county bus routes between Ada and Canyon counties. If you want to try out one of the more than 120 bikes through GreenBike, you can rent those free of charge at more than 81 stations and 'flex hubs'!

Residences who are within a short distance of any of their 20 fixed bus routes started receiving information in the mail today. However, anyone is able to enjoy these services. Just keep in mind that out-of-hub fees for GreenBikes will still be assessed.

The transit hopes that by enjoying these services for free during May, people will be more likely to continue to use these services after the promotion ends. Go eco, get out, and enjoy the free rides!
