Food You Have to Eat in Idaho Before You Die
I have the best memories of being a kid and eating at my Grandma's house in Grangeville. We have some top notch food here in Idaho. Here's the Top Foods You Need to Eat in Idaho Before You Die.
- 1
Finger Steaks
I tried finger steaks for the first time over the summer. OMG to die for! I can't believe I lived 35 years without eating finger steaks. Tender pieces of steak, battered, deep fried, and dipped in yummy sauce!
- 2
Bison Burgers
Anyone someone new comes to visit me I take them to "Boise Fry Company" and we get a Bison Burger. It's honestly one of the best burgers I've ever had. My favorite part is the pickled onions!
- 3
Huckleberry "anything"
Huckleberry jam on warm scones were my favorite thing at Grandma's house, but huckleberry pie, or huckleberry pie will suffice.
- 4
Croquetas
One thing Idaho is surprisingly known for is our Basque cuisine. They are bite sized little balls of meat, cheese, fish, or potatoes and they are yummy!
- 5
Ice Cream Potato
I was very curious about this when I rolled into town. I didn't know if it was ice-cream, a potato, ice-cream in a potato. Turns out it is ice cream rolled in cocoa and topped with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. Delish! You can find it at West Side Drive-In.
