Triple digit weather has been the theme here in the Treasure Valley for most of the summer but a break is coming and it might just give us one of those beautiful summer light shows.

We're experienced 100 degree temperatures throughout the weekend but starting Monday afternoon we'll experience possible rain, thunderstorms, and a drop in temperature.  Don't get me wrong, it's still going to be hot.  We're looking at mid-90's but it'd be nice to get a shower or two and there's nothing more gorgeous than watching the lightning take over our Treasure Valley skies in the middle of summer.

Tuesday night into Wednesday may bring more chances of rain and thunderstorms and then it's back to the same ole same ole.  Sunshine with 100 degree weather.
