It's hard to be a woman! I mean there are a lot of things we've got to deal with, and these things could be even more difficult to deal with if we're dealing with homelessness. One of those issues is access to feminine hygiene products. One woman wanted to do something about that and help out those women in need.

According to KTVB, Macarah Heller, couldn't ignore the problem any longer, and set up a GoFundMe account to raise money for feminine hygiene kits that she will personally distribute to homeless women in our community so they don't have to worry about a lack of supplies.

Every penny raised will be used to buy pads, tampons, wipes, and menstrual cups that Heller will put in waterproof kits and distribute to women in the area, as well as different homeless shelters in the community. But what's really cool, Heller doesn't just want to drop off the items and call it good; she tells KTVB:

I truly want to get to know them and hear their stories and what struggles they are facing to know them as people because they are human, not just a faceless group of homeless people.
