Someone, here in Idaho is sitting back in a dark corner, with a gun, waiting for innocent people to drive by and then letting the bullets fly.  When I first got married I delivered papers to help pay bills.  You're up around 3 a.m. and it's pitch black which leaves you a bit vulnerable because nobody's up yet and there's nobody to help if something goes wrong.  I can't imagine having someone taking shots at me when I drive by.

That's exactly what happened to Donna Correll and her husband of Lewiston, Idaho who at first thought those sounds were some kind of a rock rolling up underneath the car but quickly realized someone was shooting at them.  The Correll's sped off to the Nez Perce Police Department who confirmed that at least three bullets had struck their vehicle.  According to the Idaho Statesman, two bullets entered through the front windshield and the passenger window. They found a third bullet that had entered the hood of the vehicle and bounced around the interior, hitting a radiator hose.

Donna normally sits right where one of the bullets had passed through but for some reason, she took the front seat with her husband on this route which very possibly could've been what saved her life.

The Nez Perce Police Department is not releasing any information about this investigation and THIS case has taken top priority for them.  People like this DO NOT belong on our streets and whoever this is WILL be caught.  The Federal Bureau of Investigation has taken over the case and have a team of investigators combing through all the evidence.  We'll keep you posted on this story as it develops.
