We have had far too many fatal accidents recently. This one has killed a man from Gooding.

The crash happened at 2:48 p.m. near Minidoka. 56-year-old Alan M. Kime was driving westbound on HWY 24 in his 2004 pickup when he veered off the road, overcorrected, crossed both lanes, and rolled his truck.

Unfortunately, this crash comes with another warning to please wear your seat belt. It could honestly save your life. I'll admit there are many times that I think "I'm just going a mile down the road, I don't need to buckle up" but I am so wrong. That decision to not buckle up can show the fragility of this life in an instant.

Alan was ejected from his Ford pickup and according to KTVB he died from his injuries at the scene of the accident.

Please keep Alan's family and all who loved him in your thoughts and prayers.
