Fatal Accident on Cole Road

A fatal motorcycle accident on Cole Road is causing road closures this morning. Here's what we know so far. 

We've see this happen far too many times in the last week. According to KTVB, this is the 4th motorcyclist to be killed here in the Treasure Valley this week.

This morning just after 8 a.m. a man who was not wearing his helmet was thrown off his motorcycle after clipping a truck at a high rate of speed. The accident sent the man 50 feet in the air before killing him.

Cole Road has been shut down between Overland and Franklin and its expected the stretch of road will remain closed for the next couple of hours while they clean up the accident and investigate.

So far a name of the victim has not been released.
