The tragedy of this beautiful 22-year-old woman's death in a domestic violence dispute has rocked the Treasure Valley.  Rick and Carly received call after call this morning from listeners who knew Kymberlee Larsen of Nampa and wanted to just share their thoughts, prayers, and good wishes to the family.

According to KTVB Kymberlee was stabbed to death allegedly by a former boyfriend who was shot to death by a Nampa Police Officer.  Her family is still in shock and trying to figure out why and what exactly happened.  They've expressed their thanks for all the love our community is extending and are asking for prayers and hoping that by some miracle they'll be able to find a way to pay for Kymberlee's funeral and other necessities.  Kymberlee's 3-month-old son was not harmed physically but now faces a world without his mother.  Kymberlee's family released this statement today:

Our family would like to thank the neighbors, community and friends who have supported us during this difficult time. We want to acknowledge the first responders for their swift and justified actions that undoubtedly saved our loved ones from further tragedy in this senseless event.

Two other women part of Kymberlee's family were also stabbed and injured with severe wounds but are recovering in the hospital.  A GoFundMe page has been set up to help the family as they try to heal.
