Not again!

Welp, some more bad news if you frequent Esther Simplot Park in Boise. Pond No. 2 (just west of the big pond) has been shut down because of-get this- toxic algae that could be fatal if consumed!!!

According to KTVB, the pond was shut down on Wednesday after samples of the water tested positive for the toxic algae.

Now, pets are already not allowed at the ponds in Esther Park AND the adjacent Quinn's Pond. But officials are still warning visitors to keep you and your pets away from the dangerous water.

Luckily water quality is monitored daily at the ponds, so it will remain closed until the algae is gone.
