Ecoli in Nampa

Ecoli has been found in two Nampa drinking water wells!

According to KTVB, 6 wells in Nampa tested positive for ecoli earlier this year and now health officials have found 2 more.

So far illness has not been a problem, but officials don't know what is causing the ecoli to develop.

If you haven't been contacted by the health department in the South Nampa area, your water is ok, but if you have any concerns or suspicions you can always have your well tested.

Official are not releasing the exact location where the ecoli was found but we do know they were private wells.

Hopefully they find the source of the contamination quickly and no one gets sick in the meantime.
