Dear Rick and Carly

Michelle in Caldwell has an 11 year old daughter and her husband has a problem with how she is dressing. 

We received this e-mail Michelle.

Dear Rick and Carly, 

My daughter just started 6th grade. She's 11 and when we went back to school shopping she picked out lots of tank tops and shorter skirts and shorts because it's still hot outside. Some of the clothes may not fit right within the school standards, but I'm fine with her wearing them. The problem is my husband is upset with me because of how she's dressing. When my daughter is home she does wear belly shirts and really short shorts. I have no problem with how she dresses. She's a cute girl just trying to express herself and her femininity. My husband says she won't be wearing those clothes in his house and won't let her go out of the house unless she's pretty much wearing pants and a really modest shirt. 

Who's right here? Him or me?
