Dereck in Star hates the way his wife dresses. What do you think he should do about it?

Dear Rick and Carly, 

I need your advice on how to tell my wife she needs to change the way she dresses. She wears the same summer clothes she did back in 2009 even though she's gained at least 35 lbs. since then. The clothes are tight-fitting and often draw stares and smirks when we are out in public.Sometimes she'll wear a half shirt that fails to cover her belly. I love my wife and don't want to hurt her feelings. How can I get her to change her clothes? What should I say?
