Ahead of the release date for their third studio album, Dan + Shay have shared a romantic new ballad, "Speechless," and the song has all the right ingredients to be the wedding song of the summer. Readers can press play above to watch the video for the sentimental song.

Featuring video footage from the real-life weddings of bandmates Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney that took place last year, the video offers glimpses into some of the band members' happiest personal moments. Smyer's marriage to Abby Law took place in May of 2017, and Mooney wed Hannah Billingsley in October of 2017.

“We both got married last year, and wrote a song about the moment we first saw our beautiful brides walking down the aisle,” the duo posted on Instagram. Some of those swoon-worthy memories have made their way into the song's lyrics. "I know that I'll be a mess / The second that I see you," the duo croons in the first verse of the ballad. "You won't be surprised / That happens every time / Nothing new."

The sweeping tune reaches its first chorus just in time to watch Smyers and Mooney, all dressed up in wedding-day tuxes, turn around to the first glimpse of their respective brides.

"I'm speechless / You already know that you're my weakness / After all this time I'm just as nervous / Every time you walk into the room," the chorus continues, as the video goes on to depict the couples being announced at their receptions, cutting the wedding cake and enjoying more iconic wedding moments.

"Speechless" is a taste of the music from their upcoming eponymous album. On Friday (May 18) the duo shared the track list of their upcoming new album, as well as its release date, via Instagram.  The song follows the release of singles "Tequila" and "All to Myself."
