This is a voluntary recall of whipping cream and half and half products because of concerns about insufficient pasteurization.

10,000 units distributed to retail stores in Idaho, Oregon, Utah, and Wyoming are being recalled.  These units are at risk for salmonella, listeria, or E. coli.  Serious life threatening illness is possible if ingested.

So far there have been no reports of illness in connection with any Boise Meadow Gold Plant products.  Meadow Gold is offering customers who already have these products at home to dump them and return the package to the store for a full refund.
