The Dallas Cowboys now have three quarterbacks under contract after re-signing Boise State great Kellen Moore. Terms of the deal were not released.

Moore has completely healed from a broken fibula suffered in training camp last year. Had it not been for that injury Moore might have been the Cowboys starting QB on opening day 2016-17.

Instead the rest is history as Dak Prescott had a pro bowl season and earned his right to the starting job at Dallas. Tony Romo is still signed with the Cowboys through 2019 and his future is still under speculation.

As for Kellen Moore who played in three games, starting two in 2015, todays signing means he'll most likely start the season as the backup to Prescott. Most folks believe Romo will be gone soon now that Moore has been signed.

Moore completed 61 of 104 passes for 779 yards 4 touchdowns and 6 interceptions during the 2015-16 season.
