Countdown to Balloon Classic

We are just 2 days away from one of the most spectacular events in the city of Boise!

I can not wait to take my children to the Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic this week! They weren't living here yet last year and as a first timer myself I witnessed one of the most breathtaking scenes ever!!

The pre-festivities kick off with

KIDS DAY- Wednesday, August 31st at 7:15 am

This is a great opportunity for your kids to have a tethered ride in a hot air balloon.

MEDIA DAY- Thursday, September 1st

30 balloons will take up members of the media for a one of a kind experience.

The Official Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic Starts

VIP DAY & NIGHT GLOW SPECTACULAR- Friday, September 2nd

Tribute launch at 7:05 am

Multiple Balloon Launch at 7:15 am

This ride is for people who have helped make the Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic possible.

Night Glow festivities kick off at 6 pm with the Night Glow launch at 8:15 pm

The launch usually lasts about 30 minutes

GOVERNOR'S CUP COMPETITION- Saturday, September 3rd

Multiple balloon launch at 7:15 am

In this event the pilots will each have a navigational task that will challenge their flying skills.

THE GREAT LAUNCH- Sunday, September 4th

Final Multiple balloon launch at 7:15 am

The Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic is FREE to the public.
