Idaho kids make a difference!  Marsing High football will make you proud...

The Marsing High football team made Oseas Arriaga, a special needs player an honorary captain at Friday’s game for Homecoming.  Oseas suited up for the 1st time and led the team out onto the field.  Oseas has been with the team for years.  These guys suit up and play in his honor every single game.  They do what they do, and never take it for granted because they see how badly Oseas wants to play football but can't.

After Oseas led the team out onto the field Friday evening, the coach looked his way and said, "Oseas, get in the game".  Both teams had made an agreement to allow Oseas to not only have the opportunity to play, but to score.  After scoring that first touchdown, Oseas' teammates lifted him and cheered.  Oseas felt like it was a dream.  That it couldn't be real.

What's real is the fact that these incredible young men get it.  They really get it.  And these boys make me proud to live in Idaho!
