Chinook Salmon Released Into Boise River
The holiday weekend is in full effect just in time for the Idaho Department of Fish and Game to release a bunch of salmon into the Boise River.
150 Jack Salmon were released near Glenwood, West Parkcenter, and Americana.
It's important to remember, when fishing, you need a license and anglers need a salmon permit. Anglers can keep up to two salmon per day. Boise River Chinook Salmon fishing is open through August 30.
