What is wrong with people?! A two-year-old child falls out of a car and the driver continues driving! Now those responsible are behind bars. Here's the terrifying story.

It happened on State Street in Boise. As two people drove southbound along North Collister and turned right onto State, the car's back door flew open and a child flew out in an unrestrained car seat. The two-year-old slid across State Street and as if things couldn't get worse, the driver of the vehicle kept on going as if nothing happened!

The child suffered significant abrasions to his left cheek, but luckily his injuries weren't worse. This could have very easily been a deadly situation.

Several minutes later, the driver must have had a change of heart, or some sort of humanity settled in because 57-year-old Cesar Cabana Ripoyla returned to the scene and dropped off the boy's mother, 25-year-old Ashley Pantoja.

Ashley has since been arrested on a warrant. She's also been slapped with three felony injury to a child charge, and a misdemeanor of driving without privileges.

Ripoyla has been charged on three counts of felony injury to a child and one count of leaving the scene of an accident with injuries or death according to KTVB.

Officers later learned that two other children were in the back seat of the car at the time of the accident on June 15th and they were also unrestrained.

If you witnessed anything, in this case, please contact police.
