Chase Rice has a new record label behind him. He's coming with a new sound and new music, and he's coming back to Boise! He's in our Future Hit At Five Spotlight tonight!

Chase Rice came out with "Ready, Set, Roll" in 2013 and started a new trend in the country music format. He's played Cowgirls, The Knitting Factory and Revolution Concert House, packing each venue.

But, he wanted to take his music in a different direction, and headed back to the studio. When his contract with his old record label ran out, he took the opportunity to go with a new label that encouraged him to "do his thing".

He signed with Broken Bow Records and is now label mates with the likes of Jason Aldean, and in the same label family with Dustin Lynch, Joe Nichols, Brooke Eden, Chase Bryant and others.

His new song, "Three Chords & The Truth" is out, and exemplifies the new direction Chase is going. This new song leans more towards the traditional country sound while keeping a modern edge. The lyrics tell a story, and country needs a good story song. It's our Future Hit At Five tonight on WOW 104.3. Give it a listen, and let us know what you think!

Oh...and by the way, Chase Rice will be here on September 22 at the Knitting Factory!
