Carrie Underwood’s Spiritual New Single ‘Something in the Water’

I would like to start out by saying I LOVE this new single by Carrie Underwood, it gave me the chills the first time I heard it. Carrie stopped by the Today Show last week and took a moment to explain her new single, "it's a joyous, uplifting song about changing your life for the better and waking up and having that a-ha moment and your life being different from that moment forward." It's been about nine years since Carrie released 'Jesus Take the Wheel', the Grammy-winning, double-platinum-selling song that spent six weeks at number one and also fresh off American Idol, holy crap!

I remember reading an article where she stated she knew it was a 'risky' song to release as a first single but the song was so powerful for her, she didn't care. I love that she stays true to herself and 'wears her faith on her musical sleeve'.

This new Christian Country song will be on her new album 'Greatest Hits: Decade #1', hitting stores December 9th, and of course you can hear it on WOW 104.3!
