BSU Tailgating Law Now Permanent

BSU's first home game is right around the corner (Sept. 6 vs. Colorado State). So it's time to start planning that tailgate party. And now, tailgating around Albertson's stadium is legal!

After a successful trial run during the 2013-2014 season, the Boise City council has made the 10 to 10 Tailgating Law permanent. It allows fans to tailgate in an area around Albertson's stadium and drink from 10a-10p on home game days.

BPD like the law, because it attracts tailgaters to designated areas, and "because the less time police spend babysitting drunken tailgaters, the more time they have to focus on real public safety issues."
