Are you watching the Olympics?

I watched the opening ceremony in Rio last night and I was impressed! They talked about budget and how they had to use funds wisely so they spent money on projectors. They pulled it off! The firework show around the stadium was awesome and how they incorporated culture and history of Brazil was really cool to see.

Those beaches though.

I have a friend that grew up and Brazil and she headed home for the Olympics, following her pics through social media has been a fun way to follow the competitions!

What is your favorite to watch? A must for me was to watch Kerri Walsh Jennings just destroy Australia late last night. Hard to go up against 6'2" with those blocking skills. Wowza, not to mention I was excited to see her play with April Ross.

Women's gymnastics, they talked how this 2016 team was just as amazing and fierce as the Fab Five in London. Agreed! The passion that these girls have is incredible. I have become a huge fan of both Simone Biles and Laurie Hernandez but the all the girls we have representing the United States are just insanely talented.

And, I want to see Michael Phelps do a little swimming.
