Boise Woman Killed in Head on Crash

A 27 year old woman from Boise was killed in Oregon on Sunday in a head on collision.

Melissa Kay Gibson was driving along HWY 97 near Chemult, Oregon at about 10:30 yesterday morning when a Honda Pilot driven by 19 year old Elizabeth Brown of Klamath Falls crossed the center line and hit Melissa's Toyota Matrix head on.

Melissa died at the scene and her passenger was taken to a Klamath Falls Hospital.

The 19 year old driver of the Honda that caused the crashed sustained non-life threatening injuries.

According to KTVB, fatigue may have played a factor in the crash.
