Boise Whole Foods Closing?
The organic food chain is apparently in trouble.
According to the Idaho Statesman, Whole Foods is "facing its worst sales slump in more than a decade. Six straight quarters of declining same-store sales have forced the Austin, Texas-based company to close locations and rein in costs."
Could our Boise location be next?
Well, Albertson's may come to the rescue. Apparently Albertson's Cos. is looking into buying the chain, but neither them, nor Whole Foods have responded to the Statesman for a comment.
