Families experiencing homelessness this winter will have a warm place to go during the cold days through March. According to Idaho Press, Boise Parks and Recreation will run their Pioneer Day Shelter every weekend from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The shelter will offer families arts and recreation activities, computers, toys, books, games and art supplies. Lunch will be provided by Life's Kitchen, a "nonprofit that "provides culinary training to at-risk youth."
