Boise River Sculpture Damaged After Crash [PHOTO]
The iconic sculpture on the side of the Grove Hotel had been under renovation since 2014 and was just recently completed.
It'll need repairs again after a car crashed into the building around 2 AM on Sunday. The driver of the car that struck the sculpture ran the red light at Front and Capitol and was hit by a taxi. The impact was great enough to send the car into the river sculpture.
Alcohol was not a factor in the accident. The Boise City Department of Arts and History will work on repairs to the public art piece.
