DO YOU KNOW THIS GUY?

Boise Police officers are asking for any information about a man suspected of a sexual assault that reportedly occurred on Sunday, January 31, at approximately 2:45 a.m.  The reported assault took place in the area of West Hickory Court and North Wheaton Lane.

What Happened:  The female victim told officers she was walking in the area when an unknown adult male grabbed her from behind, threw her to the ground, and sexually assaulted her.  The suspect stopped the assault and ran from the area on foot when an approaching car was heard.  The victim was able to return to her residence, and went to an area hospital the following morning, where officers made contact with her.

Officers believe this to be an isolated incident, and ask anyone with any information about the suspect or the reported assault to contact Boise Police.  The investigation remains ongoing.

Suspect Description:  The suspect is described as a light-skinned man in his mid to late thirties, with scruffy facial hair, and an approximately inch-long scar on his left cheek.  The suspect was wearing a hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, a baseball cap underneath the hood, as well as jeans.
