The U.S. Attorney's Office says calls are being reported in Boise, Pocatello, and Twin Falls areas.

 

The callers are claiming to be U.S. Marshalls are telling residents they have a pending arrest warrant, which can be waived, for a small fee of course.  Know this... legitimate law enforcement will never notify people of arrests warrants by phone.  A valid arrest warrant must be served in person.

 

Do Not provide any personal information to the caller.  Do Not pay any amounts of money to the caller.  Do Not fall for this!  It's a scam!!
