Boise on Modern Family?

This is awesome!

I’m a huge Modern Family fan, but this Modern Family fan is a tad behind on the latest episodes. Some fan, right? So thank you DVR! As I started last Wednesday’s episode my boyfriend noticed a quick shot of the Matador in the opening scene. Was I paying attention? No. Rewind. Well what do you know, you were right it’s the Matador. Funny though, as I stared at the screen for a moment, hmmm, isn’t that Zeppole to the right of the Matador? And wait, does that say Cazba to the left? Holy crap that’s 8th Street in downtown Boise!

The scene was merely seconds as it showed Phil inside a coffee shop but it was exciting to see a small part of our beautiful town on such a large network show! It’s obviously an older Fall shot but fun to know it’s archived somewhere for ABC.

I do love Boise.
