It's a nightmare situation. My two worst fears are heights and fire and this Boise man unfortunately had to faced both of those fears today.

The apartment fire broke out just before 2 p.m. this afternoon at the Central Pointe Apartments.

The blaze left one resident severely burned and so desperate that he jumped from a second story window.

According to KTVB, at least four apartments caught fire. The man who jumped allegedly has a broken leg along with the severe burns and is being treated at a local hospital.

So far the cause of the fire is unknown, but it was so big that smoke could be seen across the city and it took 30 firemen to put the blaze out.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the poor man who has been burned. We hope and pray he makes a full recovery.
