Boise Man Entices 14 Yr Old

As a parent this scares me to death. 

It's just like you would see on that TV show "To Catch a Predator" but it happened right here in the Treasure Valley.

34 year old Kyle Shockey messaged what he thought was a 14 year old girl on Facebook named Zoe, and he sent not only explicit messages but lewd pictures and video of himself and he proposed her to meet him at Jackson's in Nampa off of Caldwell Blvd on Thursday.

That's when Mr. Shockey got the surprise of his life! The "14 year old girl" he was planning to meet up for sex was actually an officer with the Nampa Police Department working under cover.

Mr. Shockey had been communicating online with what he thought was a teenager since June 29th and asking her questions such as "do you like older guys" and asking if he could perform some very inappropriate behaviors with the young girl.

When he was confronted he claimed that "Zoe" had arranged the meeting and he didn't want sex.

According to KTVB he is in jail on a $100,000 bond and is due in court August 10th.
