Boise Hero Returns Home On Wednesday

This Boise Police Cpl. is paralyzed and had his left leg amputated after being shot several times while on duty back in November.

Cpl. Kevin Holtry was searching a wanted suspect on the Boise Bench November 11, 2016 and ended up taking multiple bullets which changed his life forever.  The truth is... we're lucky to have him alive.  A lot of people thought he wasn't going to make it.

Holtry has spent the last few months recovering and going through different therapy programs at a rehabilitation hospital in Colorado.  Now he finally gets to come home to Boise, Idaho.  He's expected to arrive at the Boise Airport around 5:20 p.m.  Don't be afraid to head out and show him some love.  This man is a true hero that has sacrificed a lot so that all of us can live life safe in our community.
