Boise Bar Owner Uses Facebook To Find Theft Suspect

Thanks to Facebook, the thief is being brought to justice!

Boise bar owner, Ted Challenger, who owns many bars in the downtown area, including the Main Street Bistro, used the power of Facebook to track down a man who stole money out of employee's purses on Saturday night.

The bar owner posted surveillance video footage on Facebook to help him identify the suspect. Many of his friends on Facebook shared the video, and eventually the man was identified. After identifying the suspect, the bar owner passed along the information to Boise police, and an investigation is underway.
