Body Found In Boise River

The Boise Police Department just released information about a body found a little after 1 p.m. this afternoon in the Boise River near Veterans Memorial Park.  Someone was walking by, saw something suspicious, investigated and realized it was a dead body.  They immediately called authorities who've been on the scene investigating ever since.

We have very little to go off of right now.  This obviously looks very suspicious but investigators are not ruling out any and all possibilities.  The body was a male and the Ada County Coroner's Office is working hard to find the identity so that family members and close friends can be notified as soon as possible.

The Boise Police Department did say at this time they do not suspect foul play so this may have just been some kind of accident or medical issue with the man.  If you have any information please contact the Boise Police Department at 208-384-4422.
