Blood Donation Saved Boise K9

Jardo the Boise Police K9 was involved in the manhunt Friday that ended with two Boise Police Officers being shot. Jardo was shot in the chest and wouldn't be here if it wasn't for this. 

You never really think about dogs donating blood, but that is exactly what saved Jardo's life on Friday.

Myles, a 6 year old Golden Retriever and a Pitbull named Cricket donated blood to help save Jardo.

Myles has actually donated blood to 5 different dogs and they have all survived thanks to his life saving gift.

According to KTVB, Jardo is back home after major surgery. We're so glad he's o.k.!
